State of the Planet Address

CREATIVE PRODUCER

PROMISES MADE MUST BE KEPT

At the Tate Modern, London, The Department set the stage for one of its most critical events to date. Christiana Figueres, the globally recognised speaker on climate change gave an impassioned plea ahead of the COP26 summit in Glasgow to hold global leaders to their climate promises.

With an audience of 400 guests, including celebrities, politicians and youth ambassadors, days before the start of COP26, WWF highlighted the vital importance of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.

This message was brought home throughout the event through a dynamic projection show, performance art that physically transformed the space as time passed, and 360 epic sound design.

We prioritised high-impact, low-material creations at every point in the production process. At the end of the event, every prop used was recycled, reused or repurposed.

Google even generated an AR Panda especially to celebrate and mark the occasion.
